WIDI Recognition System 3.3
WIDI converts digitized music into MIDI sequences (Wave to MIDI, mp3 to MIDI). It can process polyphonic music. What takes several hours of hard work even for a well-trained musician can be done by the program in a matter of minutes.
WIDI also works in real-time, instantly converting music at the microphone or line input of your computer into a MIDI sequence. Think of this mode as a powerful music processor which allows some non-MIDI instrument (like a guitar) to sound as a violin or a piano or whatever instrument you've got in your MIDI synthesizer.

WIDI can work both in real-time and off-line mode. In off-line mode WIDI performs audio to MIDI conversion, taking WAVE, MP3 and other sound files as input, and produces MIDI sequences as output. This gives you numerous possibilities:

- Choose among several recognition algorithms, including special algorithms for monophonic recognition.
- Eliminate wrong notes automatically with a simple harmonic model.
- Reach "out of this world" recognition quality with a great number of tuning settings.
- Recognition settings can be saved to a file for repeated use.
- A set of recognition settings for a number of typical situations has been compiled.
- Select any pitch to transcribe you like.
- The capability of recognizing separate stereo-recording channels and combinations of these channels exists.

- Recognize notes on-the-fly, managing your MIDI synthesizer directly with our Realtime Conversion module.
